FA COMPETITION DRAWS RELEASED

The club discovered their first competitive fixture of the new season this afternoon when the FA revealed the draws for the opening rounds of the FA Cup, Trophy, Vase and Youth Cup competitions.

In the FA Vase, this season sponsored by Isuzu, Bilston will host MFL Premier Division side Racing Club Warwick at Queen Street on the weekend of Saturday 27th August 2022 in a First Qualifying Round tie.

​

The Racers finished in 14th place in the MFL Premier last season and will provide a tough test for Mike Dunn's newly assembled squad.

​

Should the Steelmen win that fixture then they will also be at home in 2nd Qualifying Round as Alsager Town of the North West Counties League await the winners.

​

The Bullets play in Division One South of the NWCL which is step 6 with that tie scheduled for the weekend of Saturday 24th September 2022.

​

In the FA Youth cup the young Steelmen have been drawn away to Newcastle Town in the Preliminary Round with the trip to Staffordshire scheduled for week commencing Monday 29th August 2022.
