MFL DIVISION ONE FIXTURES REVEALED!

The forthcoming league campaign moved a step closer today with the release of the Division One fixtures for the season and the Steelmen face a bumper home selection in the opening month.

Shawbury United will be the visitors to Queen Street on opening day (Saturday 6th August) and they will quickly be followed by a new opponent as Ingles make the journey from Leicestershire for a midweek match on Wednesday 10th.

 

Our first road trip is into Staffordshire as we take on Heath Hayes (13th) before another Wednesday night at home against Chelmsley Town (17th).

 

A trip to AFC Bridgnorth follows at the weekend before a triple bill on home soil with Coventry Copsewood the Wednesday night visitors (24th) followed by a Bank Holiday Monday (29th) visit from play-off semi finalists Ashby Ivanhoe, either side of the FA Vase tie with Racing Club Warwick (27th).

Our first derby of the season is the short trip to Amos Lane to face Wednesfield on Tuesday 13th September with the return at Queen Street not long after on 29th October

​

We host Dudley Town at home over the Christmas period (Tuesday 27th December) and travel to Khalsa FF for our first fixture of 2023 on Monday 2nd January.

​

Easter Monday sees us host WMRL Champions Droitwich Spa at Queen Street (Monday 10th April) which is our final scheduled home game of the season as we end the campaign at Hinckley AFC (15th) and Coton Green (22nd).

All fixtures are subject to change due to cup commitments and postponements and we will keep you up to date of any changes as the season progresses.
